What Happens at Every Tune-Up

Every precision tune-up / clean & check follows a comprehensive checklist — not a quick visual glance. Here's exactly what our NATE-certified technicians do at each visit.

📅

Why Two Visits a Year?

Each visit covers your complete system — both the outdoor unit (AC/heat pump condenser) and the indoor unit (furnace/air handler). The reason for two visits is timing: your spring visit tests the cooling system under warm conditions so we can run the AC, check refrigerant, and confirm everything is ready before summer. Your fall visit tests the heating system before the first cold night — firing up the furnace, inspecting the heat exchanger for cracks, and verifying all safety controls.

Note on refrigerant: If a refrigerant leak is found during your spring visit, the plan covers all labor to diagnose and perform the recharge. Refrigerant itself (R-410A, R-32, etc.) is billed at cost — typically $85–$125/lb installed. Catching a small leak early is far less expensive than a compressor failure caused by running low all season.
